What I like most
First of all, tattoos. Not just drawings on the skin, but a way to preserve the moments, feelings and people who left their mark. I love the process itself - the sound of the machine, the smell of paint, the way the line becomes part of the body. Sometimes I sketch at night when my thoughts are too loud. My tattoos are not about perfection, but about honesty. Each line is a little alive, a little imperfect - just like me.
Secondly, drawing. This is my way of speaking when words are not enough. I can sit for hours with a pencil or tablet, lost between shadows and shapes. I like to mix styles - something between sketch and chaos, between tenderness and roughness. Sometimes my drawings are just a mood, sometimes they are stories that I don’t dare tell out loud.
Goals and dreams
My biggest dream is to become a tattoo artist who doesn't just copy ideas, but creates something truly personal. I want to travel and study with different masters, perhaps in Berlin or Copenhagen, to absorb their style, atmosphere, approach to the body as a canvas. It is important for me to learn how to turn feelings into lines - to make tattoos that people feel, and not just wear.
In the near future I want to draw more and go beyond the usual. Take a sketchbook with you, walk to new places and catch inspiration in random details - in people, streets, light.
My long term goal is to open my own small studio. A cozy space where the lights are always slightly dimmed, calm music plays and a feeling of security reigns. A place where people can be themselves and I can create something real for them. A life that appears calm on the outside, but is filled with art, ideas, and stories on the inside. I don't need to be famous.
Biography
Hey! I’m Eleanor, but most people just call me Ele. I’m 18 and I’m from Tallinn, Estonia—yes, the one with the medieval old town and a lot of rain, but also really amazing summers where the sun barely sets. I just finished gymnasium, and honestly, I’m in that weird in-between phase where everyone keeps asking “So, what’s next?” while I’m trying to figure out who I am outside of school.
I’ve grown up with my feet in two worlds: one is the cozy, digital side of Estonia (I’ve had my e-residency since I was 10, basically), and the other is my love for nature. My favorite place in the world is my grandma’s old summer cottage in Lahemaa National Park. It doesn’t even have running water, but it smells like pine trees and old wool blankets, and it’s the only place where my brain actually shuts up.
What I don’t like
I really, really hate small talk. The “how are you” when no one actually wants to know the answer. It feels like a waste of breath. I’d rather sit in comfortable silence with a friend than talk about the weather for ten minutes.
I also can’t stand judgmental people. Especially those who look down on Estonia or think it’s just some random post-Soviet country. We have our own culture, our own struggles, and we’re doing our best. Don’t underestimate us.
And honestly? I dislike the pressure to have everything figured out. Everyone expects you to know exactly which university to go to and what career to pick at 18. It feels like being given a map but the map is blank, and people are yelling at you to start driving anyway. It’s exhausting.
